Kaisha Gerhardt is a digital artist exploring the intersection of whimsy and the macabre. With a BFA in Media Arts from the University of Montana, specializing in interactive media and video game design, she creates immersive digital experiences that draw viewers into playful and frequently eerie worlds.
Her work spans multiple disciplines, from graphic design to 3D modeling and interactive media. As a graphic designer for the Milwaukee Road Historical Association, she contributed to the publication of Taft: The Story of the St. Paul Pass Tunnel and America's Wickedest City - Building the Hiawatha Trail. She also worked as a 3D asset creator for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, developing models for a virtual reality game. Additionally, she has served as a Media Specialist and communications associate for Open AIR, an Artist-in-Residence program.
Most recently, Kaisha has taken on new creative challenges as an independent contractor for Jackalope Productions LLC, continuing to dabble in the boundaries of new media.
